Brooke Lehmann is a model and poet who resides in Charlotte, NC. She grew up in Indiana and has also lived in the Pacific Northwest.
Brooke has experience in Commercial, Print, and Runway modeling. She has enjoyed working with several local designers and commercial clients, Zulily. She was also named the 2023 female model of the year by the Carolina Fashion Awards.
Her poems have been featured or forthcoming in Poet Lore ,Tar River Poetry, Pedestal Magazine, and others. She was longlisted for the 2022 Palette Poetry Sappho Prize for Women Poets, and her chapbook manuscript, Pillar of Exquisite Sorrows, was named a finalist in Tusculum Review’s 2023 Chapbook Prize. Her poem, “Thanksgiving Psalm” was awarded first place in the 2024 Charles Edward Eaton contest for Pinesong. Brooke holds a B.S. from Purdue University and is an Arts and Science Council Cultural Leadership Training program graduate. She serves as Poet-In-Residence for Charlotte Center for Mindfulness.
She also plays the piano, practices yoga, and does Pop Sugar workouts as part of her fitness routine. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Justin, and has a yorkie-poodle named Linus.
